WQAH Radio Sales Account Executive

Motivated sales professional needed for the WQAH sales staff. 

Principal duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Setting up appointments with regular and prospective clients concerning advertising with station.
  • Travel to client's business location, and consulting concerning radio advertising needs.
  • Writing effective copy for on-air commercial announcements.
  • Completing customer broadcast orders.
  • Closely following up with all clients concerning their advertising needs.
  • Provide station management with daily updates on all client contacts.

Qualification requirements:

  • High school graduate (college preferred)
  • Three years media sales experience preferred
  • Must possess good communication skills
  • Be accurate and detail-oriented
  • Work effectively alone, as well as with others
  • Have basic computer skills with a working knowledge of Windows XP & Excel
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work at least five hours per day, Monday through Friday
  • Occasional night/weekend duties are required with special events and live broadcasts
